About Us

Connections for Youth, Inc. (Connections) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) community outreach organization dedicated to serving foster youth in Sacramento County by providing the opportunity to experience nature, culture, and the arts by taking youth on trips and creating life long memories that inspire and motivate. The shared experiences will help to build self-esteem and long lasting relationships with adults and peers.

Connections was created to offer foster youth a chance to explore the wilderness, art and cultural events offered by the community, and to create lasting relationships between adults and peers. While exploring the wonders of nature, the arts, and culture the youth expand their understanding of interpersonal skills, social skills, and have increased self awareness.
